Our purpose is to raise scholarship funds for needy and deserving young men in the face of shrinking financial support and tightening budgets at Historically Black Colleges and Universities such as Morehouse College. The money raised during the tournament enables us to assist even more students in need at Morehouse College. However, we cannot do this without the likes of very generous contributions. Since 2011 we have raised over $250,000 and helped numerous students eventually become Morehouse Men. Moving forward, we hope to continue to grow this event as a way to support the “Morehouse Legacy.” Therefore, we ask that you strongly consider supporting our mission of developing men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership and service by continuing to be a sponsor.
All proceeds from the Morehouse Golf Classic will benefit the Morehouse College Scholarship Fund, as this event is jointly sponsored by the Morehouse National Alumni Association, Baltimore Morehouse Alumni Foundation and the Greater Washington DC Morehouse College Alumni Association.
